HISPANIC DEMOCRATS OF NORTH CAROLINA
Call for a 2006
SOUTHEASTERN HISPANIC DEMOCRATS
CONFERENCE

A Southeastern states conference to dicuss Hispanic/Lation issues for the Democratic Party has been called for early 2006. The democratic officials of North Carolina will greet honored guests from the great states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Hispanic leaders and representatives from state Democratic parties will attend the convention so that latino and hispanic issues are part of the national and state conversation in the Democratic party.

You are cordially invited to join The Hispanic Democrats of North Carolina convention. Paid Active members and non-members are also invited to attend the convention.

The Hispanic Democrats of North Carolina (HDNC) is a chartered organization of the North Carolina Democratic Party. Its main goals and objectives are to encourage the participation of Hispanics within the Democratic Party. It strives to ensure that Hispanic voices become an integral part of the debate on any and all issues that affect the well being of our communities, here in North Carolina and across this nation. To that end, HDNC, works to encourage Hispanics to seek public office and promotes political and civic participation at local, state and national levels. It seeks to expand the dialogue between the Hispanic community and the Democratic Party for the mutual benefit of all.

Fellow Democrats,
The Democratic Party is sending a strong message in support of the Hispanic Democrats of North Carolina this year at our Southearstern States Convention.

The message is clear, Hispanic North Carolinians have an interest in North Carolina's political conversation and the Democratic Party hears our voices and supports our issues.
We need your support and presence at the convention to send an equally clear message that North Carolina's future is the concern of all North Carolinians and that as Hispanic North Carolinians we will be part of that conversation.
Please return to our web site at hdnc.org <http://hdnc.org/events.htm> for instructions and a registration form for the conference, or call 919-667-0662. Remember, you do not need to be a member to attend and everyone is welcome. We hope to see new faces along with familiar ones.
Our attendance goal is 175 Hispanic Democrats. We need each of you to encourage your friends to attend to reach this goal. We need to identify additional sponsors to cover the cost of the convention. Program and event sponsorships are available starting at $100.
Please take the opportunity to attend the 2006 Southeastern Hispanic Democrats Convention so that you may meet leaders like yourselves who will be shaping North Carolina's Future.
